My interests to participate in
 
Composing free and open online educational resources
 
are partly professional but mainly personal. I work as a new media lecturer in University of applied sciences in Joensuu, Finland. I have always been a supporter of open software and now open course material also. I have my own lab where I have been starting open projectes recently with my students.
 
Other interests of mine in this area are free gaming environments and a band project that works only through web. No live rehearsals even! The band project has been very succesful and we are now constructing a web site that facilitates services which provide the project to larger user groups.
 
I am a musician myself, a husband and a humble father of two. My life is currently very occupied with work, family and studies. I just hope that in the future I would have more time to do some serious research with open web projects.
